Crimson Elegance
Crimson Elegance started conceptually by looking at the delicate craft of hand rolled cigars & whiskey aging. Seeing the craft that goes into each cigar & barrels of whiskey inspired me to create a piece that was naturally elegant and made by hand. There are thousands of years of tradition in these processes and I wanted my design to reflect that in its craft & beauty. 
This piece was completed by steam-bending wood while bending, twisting and manipulating it to form the lounging body.
